An Open Letter to Jenny Slate
Dear Jenny Slate,
I think you’re great. I love Marcel the Shell (see above) and Bestie x Bestie and was bummed when SNL didn’t bring you back. But I knew you’d do tons of other funny stuff so I wasn’t too worried.
But everyone thinks that and that’s not why I’m writing.
People have been telling me for a while that we look alike. Now I think we look alike. Today I heard that someone I know in NY talked to you for 20 minutes at a party before they realized it wasn’t me. This is starting to get crazy.
Anyway, I was thinking next time you were in LA maybe we could meet up and just stand across from each other and see if it’s like looking in a mirror. If you were up for it, maybe we could even sort of coordinate outfits and then when we meet up it will be even more like WHOA! Man, that was CRAZY.
I don’t know, the more I think about it, the more I think maybe it’d be a mistake. But I’m still interested in your thoughts.
